Ann Huntley

I had learnt different crafts from my grandmother and great grandmother.  From the age of ten I started to make clothes for myself so that I could follow the latest fashions at pocket money prices.  When I had  my own children I made clothes for them too.

I was able to earn money when the children were small by making curtains and soft furnishings.   I then decided to

take a City and Guilds qualifications in Fashion and Design.  This gave me the confidence to make wedding dresses and wedding clothes. I also went on to do an Art Foundation course which led to a Btec in Ceramics and an Adult Teaching course.  Throughout my whole life I've made clothes for myself and others and done arts and crafts as in the photos displayed.  I want to pass on my skills and experience to others as in the courses below.
